Newton Serves Sunday April 29th Waban Square 12:30-3:00

Hi all, Volunteers needed for community service (mulching) project for NewtonServes day, Sunday April 29th 12:30-3:00.

Great family project: little kids/elders/people with disabilities can all help. The city delivers piles of mulch, and we scoop it into plastic buckets, wheelbarrows, and spread it in the beds in Waban Sq – by Starbucks, along Beacon St, the T garden, and if time permits, the Waban Library Center. Please sign up at the Newton Serves website,  http://www.newtoncommunitypride.org/NewtonSERVES-volunteer.php  since the number of free T shirts we get depends on how many volunteers sign up! Snacks  provided, but please bring water. all tools provided. Let’s hope for nicer weather than we are presently experiencing! If there are any questions, please let me know. Thanks, and hope to see many of you on Sunday, April 29. Gail Wintersteiner
