Volunteers Thumbnail

Volunteers

We are entirely staffed by volunteers. Please ask how to join us! We ask for a 2 hour/week time commitment and we will train you during your first shift – no experience necessary.

Story Time Thumbnail

Story Time

We offer Story Time for young children, with their accompanying adult, on Wednesday and Friday mornings at 11 am. We have a large selection of children’s books ranging from board books for toddlers to picture books and illustrated non-fiction for elementary school children. Each week our experienced readers select three age appropriate books from our collection of new titles and favorite classics. We also try to include fun songs and maybe even puppets!

Library Cards Thumbnail

Library Cards

Cards are easily obtained with photo identification. Newton residence is not required. Ten books for three weeks; ten cents per day overdue. All overdue fees are used to support the library. If you want to renew a book, please bring the book into the library or give us a call and we will be happy to help you on the phone!

Patio Brick Sale Thumbnail

Patio Brick Sale

For a limited time only, we are offering a sale on our inscribed bricks. If you buy one 4×8 brick for $100 you get a second brick for only $50. Get together with friends and share the cost! (Two bricks must be purchased at the same time.) The larger 8×8 brick costs $250. All proceeds go to buy books for the Waban Library Center. And check out our outside patio with tables and benches for all to enjoy!
