KARA MILLER spoke to a Huge Crowd

Forty-five people were totally engaged by Kara Miller, Globe columnist and podcaster, last night at the WLC. She sparked many discussions about Massachusetts’s competitive advantages and disadvantages versus Texas, California and New York in terms of attracting new industry, taxes, housing and population changes. Thanks to volunteers Carolyn and Sharon for introducing Kara to the library and recommending that she speak!

CANASTA on Tuesdays at the Library!

Mahjong: Wednesdays 12:15-2:15

Guided Play: Already know the basics of American Mahjong? Join us for mahjong practice with instructor support. This is intended to help you improve confidence, skills, and strategies once you know the basics.
Open Play: We provide the set-up and arrange tables, all you need to do is show up. The open plays are designed to be about having fun and being social. You must be an independent player. Limited seats available, priority to former students.
