WLC Seventh Birthday Party!

Thursday night twenty two of our great group of volunteers toasted seven years of uninterrupted service to the greater Waban/Newton community!

How did we do this? Let me count the two key ways – by lifting a glass of champagne, and enjoying a sublime cake created for us by Russo’s, and by seven years of consistent work at the Waban Library Center.

We beheld the newly reorganized music listening room, and children’s area. We met up with fellow volunteers whom we only chance see at these festive occasions. We will look forward to another year of service, including the essential election on November 8th, when the WLC transforms into the polling station for our Wards.
